Programme Overview
The Early Childhood Education Diploma programme aims to provide professional development opportunities for prospective kindergarten teachers to have a Diploma qualification. Specifically, this programme equips students with the knowledge, skills and competencies for them to work in industries involving children such as kindergartens, child care, and development centres, child enrichment centres, children’s play centres, theme parks and so on.
In addition to physical learning in the lecture hall or online learning, students are also allowed to do activities in room simulations that provide a real experience of Early Childhood Education. Through this course, students will be assessed through a final exam and based on a value-based project that will include group or individual fieldwork to give students real-life experience in the Early Childhood Education industry.
