Programme Overview

Bachelor In Early Childhood Education With Honours exposes students in applying their knowledge and experiences to children’s cultural development and their ability to implement positive and effective teaching and interaction as early as age 6 In terms of psychological thinking, social, spirituality and humanity.

Able to equip graduates with the skills to create a conducive teaching and learning environment, build professional attitude, a strong and exemplary attitude in line with the requirements of the National Education Framework and national pride. The program incorporates the principles of development, curriculum, teaching and assessment in each early childhood education process in designing, implementing and evaluating the curriculum based on preschool educational curriculum guidelines that will indirectly produce successful kindergarten entrepreneurs.

Entry Requirement

STPM	A pass in STPM with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any TWO subjects; OR
STAM	A pass in STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid; OR
Matriculation or Foudation	A Certificate in Matriculation or Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00; OR
Diploma	A Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in ECE with at least a CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00; OR
DKM	A Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM)/Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM)/Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM)** in ECE subject to the HEP Senate/Academic Board’s approval. HEPs are required to conduct screening and provide relevant bridging courses; OR
Other Diploma	A Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in the relevant fields with at least a CGPA of 2.00 out of 4:00;

Any equivalent qualification recognized by the Malaysian Government
