Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: How do I know if I’m eligible for these aids?
Check the basic requirements such as citizenship, age, household income and whether your course at GCK is approved by the relevant agency. If unsure, contact our Student Affairs Office.

Q2: What documents should I prepare before applying?
You’ll usually need:

  • Offer/confirmation letter from Geomatika College Keningau

  • Copy of NRIC/MyKad (student & parent/guardian)

  • Latest household income statement

  • Proof of Sabah residency (if applying for state programmes)

Q3: When are the application periods?
Federal loans like PTPTN and PTPK are open year-round.
Sabah state aids (SENTOSA, BUDI, BAIK, BAKTI) typically open once or twice a year — watch announcements on the PTPS portal or our college’s official channels.
